ICL’s Code of Ethics was adopted by the ICL Board of Directors, and it applies to the Board itself, senior management, including ICL’s chief executive officer, chief financial officer, chief accounting officer or controller and any other persons who perform similar functions, as well as all global ICL employees.
The code is based on a platform of six core values for the pursuit of long-term sustainable growth and prosperity and one core principle of obeying the law, regulations, professional rules, procedures and our compliance programs. The code acts as a global guide that applies to all ICL Group companies, sites and employees throughout the world. New employees joining the Company must agree to follow the Code of Ethics, as well as ICL’s Business Partners who are required to follow ICL’s Code of Ethics core values.
The most recently updated version of the code was released in 2017.
The code is communicated using the following methods:
In 2019, approximately 44% of all ICL global employees and managers went through training regarding the Code of Ethics or one of its main components. 48% of global employees were trained within the range of the last two years (2018-19).
In Israel, approximately 74% of employees and managers went through the training in 2019 (80% in 2018-19). The calculated proportion is based on a combination of digital data on online training, and estimated calculations regarding live training sessions. ICL’s target is to increase, every year, the number of employees and managers that go through training.
