COVID-19 Response
To support its employees, ICL sent 7,000 face masks to its sites in China. In addition, the Company donated 4,000 face masks and 200 protection suits to the local hospital in Kunming to help prevent the spread of the Coronavirus.

ICL is attuned to the cultural exchanges between enterprises, enhances its relationship between and the local community and welcomes mutual development.
Maintenance in the community
The Haikou mine region includes a relatively large number of elderly people that live alone. The ICL YPH maintenance department league branch is engaged in voluntary activity to help these elderly.
The maintenance department youth league branch visits their homes to help improve their home water and electricity utilities, and to search for and eliminate in-house safety hazards.
Volunteers checked water pipes and aging electrical systems and dealt with hidden hazards.

ICL China LYG organized its staff to help clean up a beach in a nearby neighborhood. Waste and rubbish were collected from the coast line.
ICL China LYG also organized a condolence visit to the border defense police station nearby and celebrated China PLA Army Day.
ICL China Shandong (SBCL)
ICL China SBCL organized a donation to a local neighborhood that suffered a major flood. The staff of SBCL collected donations of both money and clothes.
ICL China Jiaxing (JX)
ICL China Jiaxing hosted a visit to the plant by a dozen residents from neighboring villages to discuss odor issues that impact the neighboring communities. ICL-JX management and technicians held thorough discussions with the visitors and they toured the facility together during which time the residents viewed the ICL China Jiaxing’s environmental protection practices. As a result of the visit, the residents came to understand that ICL-JX was not the source of the odors.
