CareMag® Product Line
ICL has developed a new family of personal care products. CareMag® D and CareMag® B are based on natural materials from the Dead Sea. Both products are 100% naturally based, approved by COSMOS .
CareMag® D is a natural, innovative and hypoallergenic alternative for deodorants, with impressive malodor reduction results. More than 90% of people who tested the CareMag® D deodorant, ranked it as better or similar to their standard deodorant. CareMag® D was not tested on animals and is registered in INCI.
CareMag® B is an alternative for ZnO in anti-rash baby creams. Due to its source (the Dead Sea) CareMag® B has superior high purity. The product was tested for safety and efficacy and gained good results, even compared to leading anti-rash creams. The effect was immediate, resulting in faster return to healthy skin appearance. In addition, CareMag® B has improved sensorial feeling along with lower cloths staining.
CareMag®D
Due to its chemical nature, CareMag® D controls the growth of bacteria – hence offers a long lasting effect on body odor reduction. In addition, CareMag® D entraps a certain amount of sweat and sebum, leaving the skin dry and smooth. CareMag® D allows the use of a natural based product in deodorants, with no quantity limitation. This product characteristic is also beneficial for sensitive skin and for sensitive populations (since the compound does not penetrate the skin).
CareMag® D answers the Antiperspirant and Deodorant (APD) industry requirements for natural, non-toxic, hypoallergenic ingredients.
CareMag® D replaces Aluminum salts and antimicrobial agents. Regular antiperspirants and deodorants usually contain antimicrobial and antiperspirants active materials. Some of these active materials process safety limitations (like Triclozan) and others are considered unfavorable by a growing number of consumers (like Aluminum salts). Efficacy testing results (tested in proDERM institute) showed a decrease of more than 40% in malodor and the feedback received from 90% of customers was that a formulation based on CareMag® D is “better or equivalent to their standard deodorant”.
CareMag® D was awarded , the bronze prize in the innovation zone, during "InCosmetic 2019".
